Refreshing and Sweet

This summer, why don't you try something new? How about shiraore? The name might not strike a bell, but it's definitively green tea and it's an excellent choice for either a hot or cold brew, perfect for hot days (see here our video for some tips to prepare cold-brewed green tea).

Shira ore is a blend made of the stems, twigs and stalks of tea trees. This makes him quite affordable compared to other green teas that use only leaves, but it comes from gyokuro production, so the tea is of the best quality. It can be brewed up to three or four times.

Our shira ore comes from Higashi-Sonogi (Nagasaki pref.). It is refreshing, sweet, with next to no bitterness, and Nakayama san's shira ore has those wonderful notes of citrus that will get you hooked!
