Things are moving ahead for IKKYU on the front of the Japanese market
IKKYU was picked by the managers of TSUTAYA Kyushu to present our teas in their brand-new Ropponmatsu store that opened in September 2017 in one of the fastest-growing areas of Fukuoka city (population: 1.5 million). The quality of our tea, our specific design and vision for the expansion of Japanese green tea overseas were all strong points they found appealing.
IKKYU will benefit from great exposition in a dedicated pop-shop for about two weeks in early November 2017. About 10,000 visitors are expected daily, giving our team a chance to introduce them to some of the lesser-known variants of green tea growing in their region.
IKKYU will have the great opportunity to introduce its product line to Fukuoka residents and visitors at the brand new Tsutaya Ropponmatsu store, from November 25 to December 8, 2017. We will also hold special tasting events at specific dates, with the support of some of IKKYU tea farmers.
IKKYU was invited to the pre-opening event on September 25. This beautiful bookshop, the largest of its kind in Kyushu, includes a coffee corner, sofas and comfy chairs, and is the perfect getaway for a relaxing time in town. IKKYU is excited to be counted among the trendy lifestyle products, all made in Kyushu, that the managers wish to promote.
